Blackmer Farm received an award to install a 21.4 kW solar PV roof-mounted system that includes permitting, interconnection, engineering, equipment, installation, and a five-year warranty with monitoring. The system will interconnect to Eversource’s grid and be eligible for Eversource’s netting program. The system will produce approximately 23, 800 kWh a year and cover approximately 100% of the farm’s historical usage for all operations on one meter, as well as generate approximately $6,000.00 in annual electricity savings.
