Job Jumpstart Program Begins

group of Jumpstart participants

Funded by a USDA NRCS Cooperative Agreement, the Job JumpStart Program fosters the professional development of those interested in pursuing a career in agriculture and conservation.  CT RC&D encourages each “JumpStarter” to advance their skills and training while in the role. NRCS provides a significant amount of in-house training while having them in NRCS offices around the State of Connecticut. The Job JumpStart staff are directly responsible for support related to the delivery of Farm Bill Conservation Programs and expanding the technical support capacity of NRCS in Connecticut.
