Prides Corner Farms Goes Green

solar panels on barns at prides corner farms

Congrats to Prides Corner Farms, Inc. for “Going Green” once again!

Their newly installed 298.1 kW solar PV system located at the farm in Suffield, CT marks another step towards sustainability. This is the second system installed at this location to power the farm operation’s energy needs, offsetting an impressive 288 tons of CO2 which is the equivalent of powering 33 homes annually!

This week Connecticut Farm Energy Program and USDA Rural Development visited the site to see the completed project. Support for this project was provided by: Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development’s Connecticut Farm Energy Program and USDA Rural Development’s REAP program. The project was installed by Earthlight Technologies.
