Overview

Thank you for your interest in CT RC&D's Climate Smart Agriculture Grant.  In February 2024,  CT RC&D administered the first round of CSAG funding and awarded $250,000 to eight farms around Connecticut, and in September, another $250,000 to twelve farms statewide. In total, CT RC&D has awarded $500,000 to twenty Connecticut farms, driving over $1.5 million in on-farm energy and soil health projects.
CT RC&D is currently looking into future funding opportunities to continue the Climate Smart Agriculture Grant sub-grant program. If you have any questions, please email Sarah at slayton@ctrcd.org.

The Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development Area, Inc. Sec. 22-26k). The purpose of the grant funds is to implement, support, or expand climate smart agricultural practices related to on-farm energy (energy efficiency and renewable energy) and/or soil health equipment and practices.
