On a sunny Spring day, the CACEE Committee, a group of CTRC&D Councilmembers and representatives of partner organizations had the opportunity to come together to tour the towns of Lyme, East Haddam, and East Hampton and begin their preliminary analysis of four potential sites for a future CACEE center. The goal: to build a center for a rural small business incubator and an agriculture -conservation business innovation projects.

CTRC&D received a USDA RBDG grant for $20,000 to evaluate the sites in conjunction with ongoing projects and work and provide a feasibility study for a new rural small business incubator in central Connecticut.
