Join us for the 2nd exploratory workshop of the Scovil property as we evaluate the need/interest for a Connecticut agriculture and conservation rural economic innovation and education center.

The Scovil Property was selected by the CTRC&D Council as a unique property in Higganum Village for design of a proposed rural prosperity maker space: education, food incubator, event and education center.

The Town of Haddam is working toward innovative solutions for Higganum Center and throughout the town.  While a final site location has not been determined by CTRC&D, the historic Scovil Hoe Factory site is a perfect template for evaluating the options available for a unique ecological rural maker space.
